Ok, so this is not about eggs and ham, but I remember a while back there was discussion of colonists liking to sit down and eat at a table. Having everybody organized into their jobs for a bit and all, I decided to provide a Dining Hall for the enjoyment of the citizenry. Alas .... they scorned the offer: everybody ran to the nearby storage and instead of taking their food back to eat in civilized surroundings, and in comfort, it was scoff scoff scoff, gobble gobble gobble while tromping around on the fellow cits' provender. Oh dear, how sad, never mind.
Yeah, it seems as though colonists stopped using table and chairs several versions ago. I'm surprised no-one has brought it up until now.
Somewhat off topic but... my Cog man, you have a serious brewery going on there. Look at all those vats! If only exporting was implemented, you could have a true beer empire. It's so interesting to see other colonies because mine tend to be so bare bones--having started so many new games I tend to go for efficiency above all. I love seeing these fun, detailed towns with windows and everything.
You have seen my colonies then, right? https://community.gaslampgames.com/attachments/colony1-jpg.8174/ https://community.gaslampgames.com/attachments/colony2-jpg.8175/
Beautiful, you are a true colony artist. Eventually I'd like to attempt something like that, but my mindset these days is more about quickly testing new builds than thinking about aesthetics. I probably need to slow down a bit--to stop and smell the Fish People.
Wait...what? Windows? Hmmm... perhaps I should, for the sake of moral, actually open the decorations tab now and then instead of hurrying up trying to get to weapons production capability :-S ... oh who am I'm kidding... of course I'll keep rushing towards weapons production for seeing the foul creatures through a window can't measure up to seeing them through the iron sights *nods sagely*
