Windows Vista/7 32-bit Variouse 1.0.8 Bugs

    Variety of bugs here for 1.0.8

    Items:
    N Dimensional Lathe and Horodric Lutefisk Cube are available for free in stores and vending machines (cube was already reported in the Beta Bugs thread)
    Gargoyle Traps can be purchased from shops (reports as "unidentified bug was placed in inventory)

    Monsters:
    Aquatic monsters (eely, etc) can spawn on land. I don't just mean for zoos, I mean they can spawn on land normally. Anything that might cause a monster to spawn can just as easily spawn the aquatic monsters (quests, normal spawn, levers, evil chests, etc)

    Skills:
    This applies to all teleportation skills: If you are in the process of moving when you trigger the teleport skill, you finish moving after arriving at your destination tile. This allows you to walk into and through solid tiles.

    Stats:
    Any equipment that gives a health boost due to a bonus to the Burliness attribute causes health issues when saving and changing levels (due to the autosave). Basically, if it gives you enough Burliness for your max hitpoints to go from 60 to 70, if when you save you have health above 60 it will instantly drop your current health to 60, even though your max is still 70.

    Scenery:
    This one is actually a holdover from 1.0.6 and 1.0.7 (and maybe older, 1.0.6 is the earliest version I have played), but for some reason I have never been able to open an Uber Chest. I am in the habit of not flicking any levers at all as I go through the level, and then hitting every lever at the same run without saving or loading, and still none of them open.

    Uberchests are working for me. Sometimes the levers may not be on the same floor which can make it seem like they cannot be opened.

    I doubt that floors can affect each other, they re most likely totally independant (or that would be some f*cking brilliant code behind that ! ). However you bring a point: Maybe leaving the floor and coming back resets the effects of the activated levers. So if they're ON, the chests will then be opened.

    Then was this a bug at one point because I have had it happen in earlier versions, havent seen it happen in 1.08 yet tho.

    Actually forget that, that was another bug with the lever state not being remembered after loading a save and the chest appearing to magically open after loading a game. This may explain why when I returned to a floor to use the ancient kronian ritual the chest was now unlocked. Seems like this was fixed in 1.06.

    Yeah, as far as I know it's still a bit buggy (even though Nvining swears he fixed that. He said he'd take a look at it again soon.)
