1.09 RevB Bookshelf with wand recipe

I obtained a recipe for Bony Wand and the game crashed immediately.

Playing on the Steam/Windows version.

 

Same happened here.

Playing the Steam/OS Lion version.

 

Yes, I just had this happen with the Lathe recipe of Bony Wand. It popped up when I opened the bookshelf, brief freeze, then CTD. With the latest version.

 

This crash just happened for me when I found the recipe of Stony (not Bony) wand. Steam version 1.0.9 B

 

Perhaps it was Stony wand.. don't recall for sure, now.

Any update or ETA on this?

I just had it crash upon discovering the Bony Wand recipe. Mac OSX with DOD RotDG 1.0.9 Rev B (or whatever the latest Steam version is).

 

On their twitter they updated that >info< on the next patch would be out "early" this week.

 

Blog says "Thursday". Workaround until then: don't mouse over the lathe when getting a new recipe.

 

The new blog post answered my impatience nicely, indeed.

1.0.10 sounds like it will bring many fixes and improvements.

Thanks for the work-around, FaxCelestis, but sometimes it's easier said than done. Depending on where you are standing in relation to the book case and where on the bookshelf you click, it's possible for the lathe to pop up under your cursor. So the full work around is probably always stand to the right of the bookshelf and click the left side of it, and then make sure not to mouse over the lathe.

 

You can put away the cursor from near the center of the screen and open the bookself using wasd. This way you make sure it's not gonna be on top of it.
