If im right DoD ends @ 10 levels
and with dlc it adds 5 more levels making 15 levels
can we make more levels or leave it up to the creators

I was just wondering who on the fourm is the Artist type or Modder type
and this was confusing uhm... in some of the mods it says DS_Store is DoD on the DS?

thanks, I really like the way this fourm is

the ds_store is a file for macs to keep track of the folder it is in. It is normally a hidden file.

We have to leave it to the creators.
You can try, obviously, but I don't think I saw level generation in any of the data files, so without reverse-engineering the game and making a hard mod, it probably won't be possible.

If you want to know, I'm kind of a mix - I did take multimedia (graphics and sound) making as my specialisation, and I can do that decently if I bother, but I prefer modding as without it being a paid project (which I don't accept at the moment, but I doubt you are interested in that) I take it too steady and it takes me forever to finish any image (overt perfectionism).

I have to admit I have no idea, as I never really cared to check this one. But I think it had something to do with Mac OS.

I would like to point out that it is possible to add your own levels. To do so however requires(from what I've seen) a TON more work than any other type of mod. This is because you need to specify an entire tile-set and purpose of each tile.

For those curious as to how to add new levels I would suggest looking at the branchDB.xml
this in combination with modification of rooms.xml would thus create new levels or floors.

Why yes, you are right now, Aquaman.
Though I hoped he'd find out on his own instead of getting that answer here (let's just say that I have my reason, which should be obvious for those who tried modding for real).

But yes, adding levels is possible. Though I'm not sure if it's possible to do that "as a mod", or only by directly editing "branchDB.xml", preferably one from the expansion folder. And there's a bit of work involved in making a new tileset, but that is only time-taking and not difficult at all.
