Torma is impressed by Berz's skill with the animal then hears Rantic. He frowns and answers " No way."
Torma joins Berz and helps him in calming and getting the animal used to the group. ( wild empathy +2 )
Search results: 1,253 gold coins on the various bodies. A pouch of various gems. A vial of some kind of oil. And one of the crossbows glows. Just assuming Berz will try again: (d20+2=20)(d20+5=25!) The elephant starts caressing the you both with its trunk and making squeaky cooing sounds. (Now, he is not domesticated, but he is "Helpful". Full domestication will take time, but you can begin to teach him tricks.)
" I dont know what this is, but it doesnt have sharp teeth so it probably has a vegetarian diet. You can't ride it yet, he's barely acquainted to us. But maybe later... "
"Awww." Hort looks ever so slightly crestfallen, then notices the Inquestria statue that no one has even mentioned yet. "Hey Danton look! It's one of your womanladygod's statues." Hort points
"Oh you can use it alive? Useful... if you can fit it through the doors and hallways, that is." [try to identify the vial of oil (alchemy or spellcraft?)] [try to identify the glowing crossbow (spellcraft?)]
"STATUE!!!1!!one!!eleven!!" Danton runs over to the Inconsequentia statue. "Oh great goddess, please grant us a task!"
It is at this point that you notice the statue is missing a hand. "My children, your task is to retrieve this statues hand from the Troglodytes that stole it."
Torma removes his attention from the elephant a second to look at Danton's reaction "Ouuh...I cannot imagine what troglodytes could ever do with a lady's hand, but they sure gonna regret it."
Berz starts sniffing around at the door. "Trogs. I met some of those in my wanderings across the countryside. If these are anything like the ones I met, they stink to high heaven. I might need some perfume or something. Commando, you're a girl now, do you have any?"
"A cute assumption Berz, but it's not like I'm going to get free things from random people just because I'm a g-" Hort stops and thinks about that for a moment. "I mean, no, I don't have any on me at the moment."
(Yes, though it takes a while.) The room is rather large, and the floor is covered in mold. A Lutefisk God statue stands in the room, with a strange brass cube is sitting next to it.
"These god things are everywhere." Berz mutters as he walks slowly into the room. As Torma heads for the cube, Berz stops to listen, sniff, and otherwise non-tactilely inspect each door.
