Wait, so destructible walls are marked with cracks? If that's the case, then pretty much any AOE, anything that targets the wall in question. For example, all of the cooldown weapon skills.
Just about everything. If it can target a wall, it can break that wall, assuming it's indeed a destructible wall. Area Effects that hit the wall while targeting something else nearby also work. So Psychokinetic Shove (psionics), Turn Demon (demonologist), pretty much all of Promethean, the weapon-skill special area attacks, etc, will all do the job. So will all the thrown or bolt weapons that can target a space on the floor, such as Mosolov cocktails, black powder bombs, poison bottle bolts, etc, though some of those take a direct hit to really do the job, depending on how they are coded. The hard part is figuring out which walls are destructible, and getting your attacks to target the right places. If you don't mind spoilers, you can find them in the rooms.xml file, marked with "!" instead of "#" in the room diagrams. No. They look just like normal walls, as near as I can tell, and I've destroyed (and placed via modding) a lot of them.
Yeah your right, I went back to area with cracked wall and it wouldnt break. When I had frodos teleport and itd randomly tele me inside a 2x1 area there was almost always some item worth using, even if it was just good food or bolts so maybe I will look for that room.xml file and check it out.
