    I know Lion's Den has had a few stairs crashes, but I dunno if they're rooms-related.

    For the record, I have already predicted issues when you introduce a Neverending Story-themed floor in a future expansion.

    I've noticed that ravens can't fly over moats like beats can,

    EDIT: and those blue squares that should heal you, and red ones that should summon mobs don't work :/

    I didn't know that beats could fly. :D I'm just teasing you but that is a very funny typo.

    Giving an ability a polymorphTag without setting polymorphOnly isn't completely broken, but definitely not as clean as it could be. It does allow a spell associated with that ability to be cast whether or not you're polymorphed. However, it doesn't add the spell to the poly-form's casting bar, and if you add it yourself, every time you shift out then back in it's gone again. Stat buffs (at least primarybuff and resistbuff) are not carried over to the poly-form. Haven't tested triggers.

    No problem, it just means that someone else is having that problem too and confirms it. It isn't every square that does it, just one every now and again.

    What about the mac version, you say that there was trouble with people and tarballing it, i challenge that i can install it from tarball.

    Noticed this for the first time because of the caltrops-- you cannot pick up traps that you yourself are standing on. However, you can pick up any other items that you're standing on. Intended or bug?

    Seriously though, I noticed that ravens weren't flying in rc2, I understand that's been taken care of. I haven't seen any problem with bats. I haven't had the issue with the red and blue squares either.

    At level 1, I activated Plutonic Fist and promptly countered an attack. Checking the character sheet, I still had 3:counter:. Turning off Plutonic raised it to 6, reactivating dropped back to three. I've also got Unarmed which, grants 3:counter: at level 1; is this being applied after the debuff zeroes the base value?

    When going from D13 to 14, the game crashes because it can't find a file called tree_2.png.

    To temporarily fix this, just go to that directory and copy one of the files and rename the copy to tree_2.png. That should keep it from crashing at least until the next RC is out.

    I have noticed something interesting. When I was testing RC3 I didn't have any gameplay hiccups (game pauses for a short time, usually 2 or 3 seconds) while running around. With RotDGs, I am seeing this happen occasionally. I know it isn't the autosave as I don't get the autosave message when it happens.

    EDIT: For clarity - I am still using RC3 with RotDGs.

    Should I be happy or sad that I haven't had many bugs in the RC?
    Just undead ravens, and some minor oddities that have already been addressed.

    Here is a bug that probably everyone should have.

    I noticed that whenever I had the Midas buff, it would decrement the buff whenever I threw something but never gave me the zorkmids. So I made a test mod. I created a skill that upon loading would give me 9 Potions of Midas'. I then created a character and also took the throwing skill and proceeded to use throwing for almost every hit. The buff always decremented but never gave me any zorkmids.

    So the bug is either the buff decrementing or the zorkmids never appearing. I'm not sure if this works in the plain non RC version of the game or not.
