Allowing access to all skill trees

Can any experienced modders point me in the most idiot-proof way to modify the game, to allow any created character access to all the skill trees? What I want to do is this:

Skill tome should have all skill trees present at game start.
All skills should have zero points in them to start off with. (Otherwise starting with a point in all the skills would be particularly broken.)
The PC should begin with seven skill points to select their first seven trees.
Skill points can be freely added wherever else from then on out.
Selecting one of the following trees (Vampirism, Killer Vegan, Big Game Hunter) disables access to the other two to prevent bad consequences. This should work the same way for any future skills to prevent the benefits canceling each other out and the bad consequences hitting you twice as hard.

One question: is there any hard experience level cap I have to worry about, in such a case?
Please reply with any relevant suggestions. Thanks.

Access to skill trees and the 7 skill limit is hard coded in the games executable file. You would need to make (probably major) modifications to the core game executable.

Some people like the challenge of working with Vampirism, Killer Vegan and Big Game Hunter. There is a thread on the forums about creating the most difficult build and playing it.

As for hard experience level caps, I just tried a little using the debug mode and I finally stopped when my character was level 114.

I cannot for the life of me even understand why you would want this.

It would make the game really boring.

And like LionsDen said, you simply cannot have more than seven skills. There is no way around that. You can add items that emulate spells and some abilities, but I doubt that is what you want. (If it is, just look at the wands that are identical to skill-based spells. That tells everything.)

Just or the sake of an experiment is all, related mainly to tens of thousands of dungeons in the Wizardlands and there being no hard level cap for experience.

Cool enough. But I think we should wait and see CoW before we try to fix it. :)

Honestly I think you would find better use of your time just reading through others work than trying this. I cannot think of a way to do what you want, and I doubt there is one. But there are plenty out there who would greatly enjoy your help with their less impossible goals. :p

If you ever find a way then I will be glad to help out though.

I've decided to put it up as a suggestion in the relevant forum, to allow skill selection to be more easily modifiable.
