One of the many reasons I love making a Glass Cannon with some combination of Astrology, Necro, and Emomancy. Toss in Ley Walker and Blood Mage and Burglary and *final spell skill here*, and you're off to live the (sometimes short) life of the powerful and synergistic yet painfully fragile mage-y type.
This sort of build will probably become even more powerful come the expansion into the Wizardlands. All you have to do is swap out Burglary for Perception and add Tinkering as the final skill, and chuck out Ley Walker for Alchemy, and everything gets blown up. :]
Well it would, but I kinda nerfed The Cure so it removes one random curse rather than *every* curse. Basically: a couple of the skills in the expansion revolve around debuff management not unlike Necronomiconomics (which could probably use a pass to add sophistication now that we've got so many new spell hooks) and so their balance benefits from the blanket-decurses being nerfed.
Oh you, you... I'll sic Daynab on you for that. Well, I'll ask him if he could help there... He probably won't do that for me...
