What is the biggest zoo you have encountered, Dredders?

That's a lot of mushies. Did you change some standard deviation in tweakDB.xml or are you just horribly, horribly unlucky?

Hmmm, you got a door breakup zoo. That is where the zoo is one huge room but there is a wall in the middle of the room with two doors leading to the other half of the zoo. And then a second zoo was also placed on your level making the huge zoo you see. It's neat because you can take a break between each section of zoo. Have fun killing. :)

Horribly unlucky. :) That character is dead. Time for another run.

That's a bit unlucky to open such a huge zoo right on entering the second level...so much easier to handle a zoo if you've cleared half the level two map than if you get one right away. I also don't remember seeing groups of Mushies like that on level 2.

I can definitely say I've never seen quite that much blue all at once so far, either.

Did you actually open one zoo, retreat from it to a different door, and end up opening a second zoo? That's what the minimap looks like to me, but it's hard to tell for sure. Would definitely make retreating to the stairs a bit harder if there's another zoo that's already flooding past the stairs.

Those aren't mushies, they're death caps.

Biggest difference is that they're balanced for level 2. :p

Actually, when there is multiple zoos on a floor, it shows all of the zoo rooms on the map when you open the first zoo door.

That is indeed correct. It doesn't open the second, it simply highlights it on your map.

Another quick zoo question if I may:

If you retreat to a different level after opening a zoo, does that nullify the zoo reward? I noticed the counter is gone, and I've never seen a reward after having to retreat, but was just looking for confirmation.

If you leave the level the reward leaves too. But you can flee to another part of the level and when you get around to killing all the zoo stuff you will get the reward.

Yes and no -- if you get too far away from the zoo, even while staying on the same level, you can lose out on the reward as well (that's happened to me a few times when I have had problems locating the last zoo critter).

Hmmm. That is not how it is supposed to work. I have lost the last creature a few times. But an hour later after scouring the entire level with fireballs I managed to kill the last one that somehow managed to get stuck in a wall.

You guys aren't going to believe this. Happened again to me today. Screenshot from 2012-07-16 13:05:49.png

LOL.... That is too rich! :D

I have seen the room that has the wall and two doors separating it in half and I have seen an occasional level that has two zoos on it, but I still haven't seen the two combined. :)

Lately, the double-zoo room has been the only one that spawns at the same time as another zoo room. At least for me.
