If I do get an item in the game, not that I think I will because I'm not especially legendary or anything, but if I do I'd be totally content with just a regular reference to Banjo-Kazooie that doesn't necessarily actually count as a reference to me. Like the Jinjonator.

 

Yeah, I can't say I deserve a reference at all. But, if I could vote for a reference to be included, I'd go with either Red Orchestra (IS2 is best tank of WW2 or something) or even better, a S.T.A.L.K.E.R. reference, like "Get out of here, Diggle". Obviously either for Communism.

... really, I'm not excited about Communism at all. Seriously. I've never even had vodka.

I am surprised people have such delusions about the definition of Communism. It may be horrible in the ways it has generally been implemented, but the idea itself if implemented properly is brilliant. (Please do not reply to that comment. PM me if you must. Politics is a sore subject for anyone who knows the first thing about it).

We need more Cthulhu objects too. Maybe even a Cthulhu skillset?

 

Huh. Thinking of me-turned-item is kind of interesting. I'm not actually important enough for such things, but it's fun to pretend!

I'd probably restore a very small amount of health because hairy bread is disgusting, but I'd bestow either Cat Scratch Fever, which would grant lots of extra slash damage and resist, or Witty Remarks, which would boost Caddishness by a decent amount (you fight like a cow).

 

I vote it gives you a "hairball" debuff, which after 3 turns hits whatever is in front of you with some putrefying damage.

 

If the Communist tree has no Russian Reversal skill, I'll be sorely disappointed. That said, here's some flavor text:

Paranormal Investigator?

 

This is one of the best suggestions for an overly-subtly-named skill tree.

 

Actually, I don't think that's much of a suggestion, really.

Because unless my sleep deprivation is acting up again and I got it wrong because of it, there was supposed to be a skill tree with such a name.

 

Paranormal Investigator is one of the skills specifically mentioned in the announcement.

You know, it might be a bit too late to say this but I really hope that Paranormal Investigator doesn't get derailed after about two points put in it and ends up being a warrior tree.

And I really hope there isn't a tournament arc.

I confess to not having read all eleven pages of this thread, but let me go on record as saying I'm looking forward to the Bankster skills, where you make ridiculous amounts of money by stenciling pictures of Dredmor on the walls of the dungeon.
