Option to Quit Without Saving

I'd like the option to quit without saving. I don't think constantly exiting the game via Task Manager--> End Process is good for my computer.

 

Do you play without Permadeath?

 

Yes. You're thinking of the option to save without quitting.

(Although while we're on the topic,' Save and Continue' SHOULD be an enabled option in permadeth mode. Losing your character to random crashes is not part of the game)

 

In Permadeath, you really can quit without saving...

 

You can press altf4 to acheive this effect (i think)

 

Wow, and alt+f4ing quits you to the title screen no less, that's a nice feature.

 

I'd like to add a +1 to this. It'd make farting around with different builds or escaping certain death a lot easier.

Hmmm... Good point, lemme check.

EDIT: Yeah, pretty much confirmed. It quits back to the title screen and there's no saved game at all in my load screen.

 

Ok, alt + f4 had been working for me but now it's suddenly started saving before it exits

 

The only reliable way is to use the CTRL+ALT+Delete combo and kill the process.

And I really wish there was a way to disable autosaves entirely to make this more useful.
