Windows Vista/7 64-bit Leaving the Pocket Dimension means reverting to older stats.

I saved the game while in the pocket dimension. Now, when I try to leave, I find I have the equipment and stats from earlier in the game. I don't have this problem when I go to the wizardlands, just when I go back to the dungeon.

 

Also, trying to get back into the Pocket dimension from the dungeon does crash the game.

 

The same problem, but character reverts to earlier one when I'm trying to ascend from DL2 to DL1. And yes, returning back to DL2 crashes the game. Descending to DL3 and teleporting to PD is okay.
This character was created (and stuck with no possibility to go to DL1) before hotfix3.

 

Where do you find the saved games?

 

Check Documents\Gaslamp Games\Dungeons of Dredmor\

I have the same issue as described in the original post. I have uploaded my save game on the offchance it helps. Until then my character is stuck in the pocket dimension lands it seems.

I am posting to confirm that the hotfix 7 over the hotfix 3 fixed this bug for me. I am in level 2, I can enter the PD, exiting it without losing any item or xp. So the characters isn't reverted to an old state anymore. I tried also going to level 3 and it did not crash either.

I now have this issue after playing a bit and going on the 4th floor.

 

I'm having a similar issue with the mysterious portal exit. Once i exit i revert back to old stats/equipment and lose everything in my inventory. Hopefully this save helps.

 

I tried hotfix 7 over hotfix 3 and did not get the pocket dimension goes black issue (yet) but now when I attempt to leave the pocket dimension it actually teleports me from wherever I was standing in the pocket dimension area back to the starting square of the pocket dimension area. I guess I cannot escape the pocket dimension.

 

I just had this happen to me the first time. I haven't installed any of the hotfixes yet and am running my Needful Things mod. This is my fourth or fifth character trying things out with my mod active and the first time this has happened so I doubt that it's my mod. I am running the steam version on Windows XP. I have all of the DLC installed and running including the wizardlands. Here is my save files.
