First off, I would like to say Dungeons of Dredmor is a great game! But, I'm experiencing a few problems at the moment. 1. Error: File named skills/commie_purge32.png not found. The game will probably crash! 2. Error: Couldn't load PNG file skills/commie_purge32.png. The game will probably crash! The first problem I had was dealing with the bottom dungeon failing to load, upon encountering this I tried one of the hotfixes, an now I recieve the above error messages. I apologize ahead of time if I did something stupid lol, but any help would be appreciated! -thanks
Forgive me of my ignorance, I didn't realize the expansions were other DLC. I have the Dungeons of Dredmore off steam for $5, no add-ons. The bottom dungeon still fails to load though, am I supposed to do something to get to it? Or is this a bug?
okay, delete the "expansion", "expansion2", "expansion3" if there are any of those inside C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\dungeons of dredmor\ and that should resolve your issues.
Okay, that's really weird. It sounds as if the game is calling on expansion assets when it really shouldn't be. We'll look into it.
Thanks for trying to help appreciate it, but I got it to work. I downloaded all the expansions, applied the hotfixes and now everything runs smooth.
