Graffiti sharing thread

The thread isn't quite fully updated yet. I'm taking charge of updating most of it. It goes slower than usual because I have to tend to my good loot thread at the same time too. There are codes here which haven't been entered into the spreadsheet.

 

I think you forgot an about in your sentence.

But I do still look here for the people that are not bothering to put them into the spreadsheet. I have tested and entered around a dozen of the codes from this thread into the sheet as well as put all of mine into the sheet.

 

The spreadsheet is nice. But to me, it ruins the surprise.
Also, it takes a lot more work to copy/paste the names of the dimensions into a text file.
This thread is much easier.

I have around 100 to go, but when I get through them all, I'll probably be forced into using the spreadsheet, which is nice, but it does ruin the surprise of what you can find. And to me, that's half the fun.

 

Copy / Paste the first columns from each page of the existing spreadsheet into a new one. Voila, no more spoilers.

 

I don't really know how to select only the first column though.

 

There is a few ways:

1. Click on the A column that selects everything in that column. It's just above the first row where you click the A.

2. Click the first entry in that column and then scroll down until you get to the last entry in that column and hold shift and click the very last entry in that column. That will select all the entries in that column.

Then you just right-click on any selected portion and choose copy. Go into your other spreadsheet program and click where you want the column to start and choose the Edit menu item and the paste sub-menu item. This works for most spreadsheet applications, but I have never actually tried it with google docs. Since they run in the browser window, it may not work as advertised but it should. If it doesn't work, complain to google to fix their dang program.

 

Ah. Okay. I could try that. I bet it might copy to a text file easily too. Or blow up Chicago..

 

Whomever set up the google doc needs to look at the reversion history and put the entry codes back in because some of them are showing up blank to me and I suspect to others as well.

 

Same here, there's a few that have gone missing in my case too.

@Dynamod: Any lever not connected to an inactive crystalline node summons clones. That is to say, 95% of all Wizardland levers are traps. Don't pull ANYTHING.

Dyanmod, why are your names separated into 3 letter groups?

 

Easier to read them that way. You're much less likely to make a mistake if you write it in groups of three letters.

It's like using commas to separate long numbers. 2,500,000,000 is easier to read than 2500000000.

 

That being said, some of those are written weirdly ("kolkii" should be "kol kii", and so on), but yeah, the way he does it is better. And if anything, that's a start for trying to find out how is the checksum calculated so that we can use codes without having to find them first.

 

I did have one of the crystal nodes summon a creature for me. I pulled the lever and the two braziers disappeared and so did the crystal node and a Murderous Rutabaga appeared. It was on Powlechommaglech which I did leave a comment in the spreadsheet for the Dungeon Level 2. I hadn't yet been to the second Dungeon Level of the regular DoD and am running Windows XP with the steam version.

EDIT: I am not running any of the hotfixes either and this character did have the bug that made leaving the pocket dimension lose all my level ups and items that I had gained in the wizardlands. Also, I was running my Needful Things mod but this is the only character that had problems out of 4 or 5 characters.

 

If anyone is interested, I would like to add a few people from here as "editors" for the spreadsheet. I think it gives you a few more permissions, like being able to look at revision history (I could be wrong). Just send me a private message with your email address and I will add you. Not sure if it has to be a gmail address.
