I have no doubt that it COULD work -- I think it's even conceivable that Archimedes understood about focused light (heck, a juvenile playing with a magnifying glass will figure that out -- it's not too much to imagine that a shiny, curved piece of metal could inspire Archimedes to come up with the idea. But in this case, there's a great deal of difficulty involved in going from theory to practice. As we you used to joke in college "It's an engineering problem". It's always an engineering problem.

Son Goku deserves to be on here.

    -Unarmed (obviously)
    -Astrology
    -Warlockery
-Ley Walker/Magic Training (the mana-recovering skills can stand in for the powering up)
    -Brofistery
    -Any of the Dragon Aspirants
    -Free slot!

Having Syzygy up counts as being in Super Saiyan form.

he's dead, Jim. You might have to add the differently alive skill to that free slot.

I'd go with QiGong instead of Warlockery, personally.

    Naruto!

    - Unarmed (Taijutsu)
    - Ley Lines (Drawing natural energy in Sennin Mode)
    - QiGong (Spirit Bomb for Rasengan, although it didn't really do what I thought it would. Open Meridians kind of matches Naruto's Kyuubi powered healing abilities)
    - Ninjitsu (Kage Bunshin no Jutsu / Kawamiri, endless amounts of Shuriken and Kunai)
    - Assassination (after all, Ninjas are Assassins)
    - Thrown Weaponry (Better use of Shuriken and Kunai)
    - Horrid Thing (Naruto is a Jinchuuriki for the Kyuubi)

Kind of overpowered, befitting the original character he's based upon.

The Ninjitsu's Secret Sword + Thrown Weaponry + Ley Lines' Thaumaturgic Tap combo is completely bonkers. Combined with Horrid Thing's Absorb Biomass and equipping 2 shields with 50 magic reflection it's basically saying "Good Game, Lord Dredmor". Now, what to do with those 293 Kunai and 552766 zorkmids?

Polearms instead of Unarmed. The Gold Bound Wand of My Desires was a staff, and he used it a lot more than his bare hands and feet, at least in the original story. If we're talking about DBZ, shame on you. >:

I want one for Teddy Roosevelt... but I can't think of one. If you guys can come up with the skills and explain 'em, I'll give it a go or few.

Add Golden Crossbow for extra mileage. Wand Lore, Tinkering included because, well, gadgets. Could it be possible to give Rogue Scientist a place?

    This is fun

    Conan the Barbarian:
-Swords (His favourite type of weapon)
-Berserker Rage (Conan certainly has a temper)
-Unarmed Combat (Any Cimmerian worth his salt would have this)
-Master of Arms (Yes, he uses armor sometimes)
-Smithing (His father is a blacksmith in most versions of the tale)
-Burglary (He's a good thief in addition to being a warrior)
-Artful Dodger (For when he fights without heavy armor)

    Garrett (Thief trilogy):
-Daggers (Technically Garrett uses a shortsword, but this fits him more than the Swords skill)
-Thrown Weapons (For all those smoke bombs and grenades)
-Archery (His main weapon and tool)
-Perception (To detect where are the traps and the loot)
-Burglary (Being the protagonist of a stealth game will make you good at this)
    -Assassination (See "Burglary")
-Tinkering (For disabling traps and crafting elemental bolts)

Artful Dodger (just watch any of the movies)
Possibly Unarmed as well (he gets into a number of fights)

    1. Big Game Hunter (of course)
    2. Tourist (He was well-traveled)
    3. Magical Law (He studied Law)
    4. Archery (guns -- Spanish American War)
    5. Silver Tongue (mod skill -- well because he was a politician)
    6. Star Lawyer (mod skill -- if you find a better one that isn't similar to another, let me know)
    7. Druid Magic (he was a naturalist, set up the national park system)

But I don't use mods. I'm scared they'll unbalance the game. If there's an all-in-one mod that is balanced, I'll use that.
