DIFFERENT UNIVERSE? More like it's a parallel universe formed every time wherein an RNG event occurs, and this one happens to be the one where the adventurer died to the first diggle, allowing their numbers to spiral out of control.

You forget that DoD tells us very specifically at the end (and thus canonically) that there will always be a "next adventurer".

I doubt that the diggles would spiral out of control

But I assume, in truth, you're referring to Team Hat Collection 2. Might it be related to this "Archimedes" mentioned in the update notes? I must confess I'm not a TF2 player (download an 11GB game to play with no-one? Nah, I'll pass), so I'll just have to twiddle my thumbs.

 

Negative, the Archimedes pet is a Medic item rewarded as a result of purchasing the plush item from the TF2 store.
