They fail to mention the motor, but it looks like the model they are using is either a tiny lawnmower motor or an electric with a lithium battery.

joke fail. oh well Also, that hoverbike looks like it has exhaust pipes, in some of the camera shots there are metal pipes with what looks somewhat like a small cylindrical muffler on them, guessing it's gas powered
