I just spent about an hour and a half farming Diggle Hell with the new patch, and Vlad didn't show up once. Was it because I was on no-permadeath easy? I had him spawn all the time with the last patch.
I found him, it just took about 7-8 Hells to visit. hehe, I love the music down there. Oh, there's another BUG: If you save the game in Hell, and restart, you don't get the great jazzy music, you just get the regular stuff.
I've gone through a Diggle Hell without finding him in 1.1.1 (and a diggle hell with two vlads immediately after that ). The 'change to wizardland gemoetries' probably affected diggle hell instances too; maybe the spawn rate did drop?
There is a thread somewhere on this forum about someone trying to get Vlad Digula. He went to Diggle Hell in 1.1.1 without finding him, twice in a row. Unless you have some sort of evidence that he is *never* spawning, I have to reply to you with "it's random, he wasn't guaranteed to spawn".
