I'm fairly certain Gaslamp mentioned coop but I'm unsure of the specifics of how it will work. Will each player bring their own governor? Will there be one temporary governor controlled by both players? Will we be able to have coop campaigns or just 'skirmish' (for lack of a better word) games that are unrelated to any campaign? Will there be any competitive element? Have you considered assigning unique government posts to the most successful player governors, as a variation on the standard online leaderboard? I'm not making a judgement on whether any of these things would be a good idea (ok maybe the leaderboard idea), I've just heard very little on the online front. I'm also sorry for making a post made up almost entirely of questions. If there is a better place to post questions, please let me know.
Well, it´s not a priority as in: It´s not an MMO. But the multiplayer doesn´t ssem to be irrelevant either. Honestly I didn´t expect them to add more that a simultainous play. ROund Robin support is a nice bonus. Actually I don´t know what else you could do with the game.
Lots of us at Gaslamp have been fans of reading Dwarf Fortress LPs/succession games, so the plan is to make that more accessible and easier to do.
