Lot of respect for gaslamp. Striking the correct balance would be/is incredibly hard to do. Even if they dont' hit it perfectly, it will be great if not really great.

Now for questions. Is it planned for citizens moods to affected by the outside environment states? IN the picture they are sleeping next the furnaces. Was that because the game actually lists the furnaces being hotter and those citizens were code (which for me makes me sleepy), or was it purely happenstance.

Also it planned for the game to take into account things like being underwater preventing breathing, putting the desire to to get air at top priority in the state machine (ie by swimming or waking up)?

...Now I'm picturing someone setting up a building where the workforce all sleep, with a pipe to pump water in so they can all be woken up at once via tactical flooding.

All in the name of Increased Productivity, of course.

I don't think any of that was in English.

Oh, I assure you it was in English. Only it was IT English.

It's like "bad touch", only it's a language and IT-related. But it was enjoyable.

Haha, I didn't think it was THAT technical, but then particles are something I work with.

Nay, it wasn't. But for people who don't work with this sort of thing nor have any education related to it, it's still some sort of voodoo.

So, if David will be doomed to draw icons for the rest of his life, does that mean you'll keep him chained to his workplace with people bringing him nourishments and a pillow with a blanket as necessary?

You're forgetting that David is a supernatural being who cannot be held by mere chains, nor does he sleep. We must offer routine blood sacrifices.

What about Gleipnir, then? It's difficult to make something like that due to scarcity of the required materials but it is supposed to be capable of holding supernatural beings.

Are some of the icons are animated?

So, are there any estimates on how many uberbiomes are there going to be?

And are there going to be any "unusual" uberbiomes, like a volcanic one or a crystal one?

And last but not least, will it ever be possible to make our own uberbiomes as mods?

I, for one, would like to know more about the "unpictured" Underdark. I want to see it pictured!

I am fairly impressed with the animations. With the regard to different 'video settings,' will animation quality be one of the graphics that can be trimmed to save resources on slower machines (kind of like SC2 death animations)?
