I am new to modding and I have read the posts about modding here. Are there extensions to mod the inventory management? I find it utterly annoying to use and it completely ruins the game for me. I want to mod to do the following: 1. change from images to a list of words that i can select 2. keep items alphabetically in order. 3. items on ground are the same way. I can bring up what is on the ground and select what I want. 4. can pick item either by moving a highlight or select a number for the item. after doing this (keeping it simple to learn the mechanics) I want to add: 1. group items by category. not sure if there are native categories of i have to manually add them to categories. what categories is flexible. 2. hit a key and let me search for items on the ground that are visible on a map and have it highlight where they are on the screen. so i can find what is in my stashes (free roguelike called Cataclysm DDA has this feature). Thats about it. Could be enhanced, but right now having to highlight everything is so annoying, I dont want to use the game. Even Skyrim has a list based inventory.
Presumably he changed the background image of the inventory panel. It's not so much modding as just image replacing.
That's what I thought at first too, but look at how the items in the inventory are aligned (or rather, aren't aligned).
That's what threw me off-guard, too, but I guess the items can be part of the image and his inventory is really empty.
