Well,I have a suggestion, I dont usually speak English, but I'll try to make it undertandable. I noticed that it's very hard to get the recipe you're looking for,and cos of that, some players just craft stuff without the recipe(you should fix that). Also, I know you're gonna add more and more new recipes,so it is gonna get harder. It needs a solution, now or soon. Here is my idea: there is usually more than a book in every bookshelf,if you interact with a bookshelf, instead of finding a random recipe, you should be able to choose a book from 2,3 or whatever.Let me explain it better, you find a bookshelf and click, and now you can choose a book from 3, the kind of books you can choose from are random, you dont always have a book of smithing,a book of alchemy and a book of tinkering, maybe a book of tinkering, a book of weapons and a book of consumables,of course you can see the tittle of the books... That's my idea, what do you think about it?
BTW, your English is just fine -- you certainly write better than some native-born Americans I know (I should introduce you to a couple of former bosses of mine). The recipe system is going to be changed very soon (I'm not sure if that will be in the next update or a future one). At the start of the game, all of the 'standard' recipes are going to be known, so you won't need to find them. But that may not be true for ALL recipes, so I'll want to see how that works out before I decide if your idea is necessary. But I do like it in principle.
I don't know what the change is going to be, but I always thought a reasonable fix might be, if you have the recipe and craft it, it gets a couple bonuses, and if you don't, it doesn't.
No idea what you're talking about, you are far easier to understand than most people I hear online. Keep it up! Also being able to choose from a few randomly-chosen books sounds like a great idea. Half the time I get nothing (which is kind of mean, considering how limited bookshelves are) or a recipe from a crafting school I don't use, and thus it's pretty much nothing (excepting the rare cases of things which require 0 skill, potion of lively regeneration and the magic jacket). I admit I do save-scum at bookshelves (I'd prefer not to, but it's like I either get something or I get nothing, and bookshelves (as I mentioned before) are fairly limited).
I'm glad you guys think I've got a good English, I learned it at high school, I'm only 17 and I still have to use many words to say something simple, moving on... I thank you Haldurson and Bushwhacker for the buckup. About what kuhchung said. The change is that instead of ''choosing'' a random recipe, as I said before, you choose what kind of recipe you prefer from a few books, which seems reasonable(wrote it without translator!) for me. I think that 2 things could happend if your idea is accepted: 1º The extra buffs are so low that searching recipes loose sense. 2º The extra buffs are too high and anyone wants to craft with recipes, that means no change. JUST MY OPINION. Another thing, I saw on tweeter an Exclusive about a Dungeons of dredmor EXPANSION. I'm gonna create a General thread for asking about it... See you.
