I made an image for a crafting mod I'm considering doing. It's supposed to be a lead ingot. I made it by modifying the sprite for the zinc ingot. Please take a look at it and tell me if you think it looks sufficiently like a lead ingot.
I'm pretty sure that lead should be a much darker grey. Then again, the only thing that comes to mind when I think of lead, were a couple of lead synch bricks that used to get passed around back in college to hold our dorm room doors open (when I say synch brick, I mean an old lead brick that used to be used as part of shielding for a synchrotron, and yes, in retrospect, maybe that was not the best, most brilliant idea ever).
I think that either one is good. I'm remembering something from 35 or so years ago, so I realize that I may not be the most reliable source. As an aside, we had access at that school to all sorts of cool stuff, such as all the liquid nitrogen and dry ice you could ever want for purposes of parties, pranks, and practical jokes. Dry ice in a punch bowl is great for parties. Also, did you know that if you pour liquid nitrogen onto a dusty floor outside of a closed door, that you can create what looks like a 'stampede' of dust particles on the other side of the door. A friend and I were getting into some mischief after hours in a lab building that we thought was empty. And while we were playing with liquid nitrogen, some professor saw that stampede of dust particles, opened the door with a puzzled look on his face. Apparently he had done the same exact thing when he was a student so no not only didn't we get into trouble, but we gave the guy a good laugh.
