Just popping in to say that, two-ish years later, my wife finally got so sick of me playing Hearthstone that she bought me a graphics card just so I could rejoin the best game devs in the world in their new epic worldbuilding epic. So give me a week or two to figure out how all this works, and I'll be looking forward to unleashing the Horrors Withyn with all y'all for reals. Thanks again, Nicholas! (He was on Steam when I failed to get the game going because of a stupid driver issue and got me onto the nature of the problem. Because that's how Gaslamp rolls.) See y'all after I've climbed the learning curve!
(and [REDACTED] the player who [REDACTED] and was pulled into the game after [REDACTED] and was hunted down by [REDACTED], but we don't talk about that anymore. The devs pulled that feature because a few people in the player base were concerned by the turn of events. Some say he's become trapped in the terrain code and sometimes, late at night, a horribly mutated colonist wanders the edges of maps wailing, in oddly modern clothing). ---- I've said too much
It's SO GOOD to be back, too. I'm a little miffed because I can't play CE nearly as often as I'd like due to my computer is still a POS even with its graphics card so I can't even get CE to function unless I turn off every other thing, and the 4+minute load time means it's not really feasable to play during a short break from work, but I'm loving it so far nonetheless! Got a cult going, trying to figure out how to get more people to join. Recruited a couple of bandits, and they've made enemies of everyone in the cult somehow. That was awesome. And my first Fishperson attack was foiled...by the same bandits I'm recruiting from (I assume), before the fishpeople ever got to my village. Grandness ensues. I can't wait to get my first mine online. XD
