I'm character level 23 on dungeon level 6 by leveling up easily using Archaeology. I've maxed out all my skills and I now have an extra skill point. I accept that I can't get any more skills, but I want to continue gaining stats for leveling up. Am I gaining stats or not? If not, what can I do to gain stats from leveling? I had this happen in another game which I played for much longer, ending up with ~10 extra skill points. It didn't seem like I got any more powerful from leveling up. Why is this? If it's true that I'm not getting any more powerful after maxing out my skill point levels, can this be fixed somehow? The reason I get Archaeology is so I can gain many levels quickly. If the levels cap out so early in the game, the lack of return doesn't feel very nice. If you see redundancy in this post, it's because I wanted to be as clear as possible. Thanks for any response you might give.
Each level you gain gives you a small bonus to HP and MP, but that's it if you have no skills left to choose. This will be much better once 1.0.8 hits, because ALL skills will have at least 5 levels, meaning any character can meaningfully level up to CL35 without losing out on anything.
That is some fast leveling. o_o I haven't used archaeology since the nerf in ye olden days, but I just might start again. I've never made it above character level 20 or so.
