....like in wiki http://www.dredmorwiki.com/wiki/Potions replace useless "A viscous crimson fluid fills this small flask." to "Instantly heals Life Points 20."
DoD is meant to be a Roguelike. Just having all the items pre-identified is already an extraordinary advantage.
i play in some ascii and for firts time it give very simple info like "brown potion" but after use firts time information expanded for "restore 20 health" in DoD i cant find any method for that - information about potion stay useless every time and even if I was already using it and familiar with the action game dont say me about function
I guess that makes sense. That is a problem with Dredmor sometimes - notably with skills, where even after you've learned and used a skill, you might not understand what it does.
if it´s really meant to be a roguelike, there would be a way to pre-identify items. would you just eat/drink/equip everything you find in nethack/adom etc?
I miss the good old days! interenet was a rare and slow games contain whole encyclopedia on the mechanics! Now if you do not have the Internet and you can not read the wiki game will remain a closed book to you, because the author decided not to write the normal hints.
