I'm using windowed mode with a 1776x1000 resolution. There is an odd behavior with certain tool belt slots when trying to drop items in them. It only happen when "use larger UI elements" is turned on. Take a look at the attachment so I can refer to it. The blue box overlays an area where if I drop an item it will always end up in the leftmost empty slot instead of the slot I clicked. This covers the entirety of slot 6, almost half of slot 7, and a tiny sliver of slot 5. The only way I can drop an item in slot 6 is to make sure slots 1 through 5 already have something in them. I suffer this issue most often when trying to swap items between slot 6 and some other slot to its left. If I pick up the item in slot 1, for instance, and attempt to drop it onto slot 6, instead of putting that item into slot 6 and picking up whatever is currently in slot 6, it just drops the item back in slot 1. I instead have to pick up the item in slot 6 and drop it in my inventory or on the floor, do the same thing with the item from slot 1, then put the item that was previously in slot 6 into slot 1, then drop the other item into slot 6. The green box indicates something else. Normally you can't click on your life meter or anywhere else around the tool belt to accomplish anything. The item just stays in your hand. However, when playing at my exact resolution with the larger UI turned on, any items dropped in the green area get dropped on the floor south of the player. Interestingly, if there's a wall south of the player then clicking here won't drop the item! This green area is located differently based on resolution, fullscreen/windowed, large/small UI, and it even shifts sometimes if I quit and reload the game. Right now it's between slots 7 and 8 instead of 8 and 9. Oh, actually, just moving your character around can make this region move. The green area bug isn't a big deal. It only occurs if you were trying to click on a tool belt slot but missed. The other one is really frustrating.
