I saved my game just after finishing a fight with 8 health. Right after I saved I hit space bar and instantly died. With 8 health still showing. When I load my game, I die, and it still shows 8 health. What can I do?? Can I edit the save game somehow??
Update: says in hall of fame I died from a buff wearing off. Grrrrrrr I tried spamming shift+1 while my game loads but it seems I can't eat fast enough, I instantly die
You had a buff that raised your max HP by more than 8, and when it wore off you instantly dropped below zero health. Eating wouldn't help because it only restores 1 HP/turn. This is intended behavior, unless saving somehow made your buff wear off earlier than it should have.
Figured out how to edit the health and dead/alive switch in the save files thanks to help from Abominog!
I have the same problem and i really don´t want to begin new. I had the bug 5 times now and every time i play new from the start. How could i change the dead/alive switch in the save file? Thanks
