Multiple save files not possible?

So me being the nub at this game, am just experimenting without perma death on, however, I noticed I can only have an autosave and a personal save, is this due to me doing something wrong, or am I only allowed to have two save files?

 

Le bump, and does anyone know a solution to this problem?

 

Heard something a while back that naming characters the same name would cause this to happen, but I only play one character at a time so I cant confirm that.

 

I can confirm that using the same name WILL save over a file thats already named that... and honestly, I think its ok.. be a little creative or silly with your names

 

Well there's my problem, I always name my accounts Mike. Time to get creative then , pitty though I lost a couple of saves to it :c

 

Just start a line of Mikes. Mike I, Mike II, Mike III, Mike IV, etc. Fairly common solution. =D

I lost a character to this too, because I mistakenly believed that this had been fixed in 1.03.
