How do I use Lost In Translation?

I'm new to the game and loving it. I can't figure out how to use the skill Lost In Translation. Can anybody tell me how to use it? I tried right clicking an artifact (I think it's an artifact) on the ground and in my inventory. It's not triggering the cool down nor changing the object so I figure it did not work.

    Thanks in advance!

If you mean "This Translation is All Wrong", the item has to be in your inventory and not equipped - that is, it must be in the large general inventory where food and drinks go, not in one of your equipment slots on the character pane.

You are right, I had the name wrong, I'm still confused. Do I right click to use the skill, then click an item? Does it automatically work on an artifact in my inventory?

    Thanks for helping.

You hover the mouse cursor over the item in your inventory, then right click while This Translation is All Wrong is selected as your active skill. It has to be an artifact (like Something the Something of Other Thing), otherwise nothing will happen.

(you use This Belongs in a Museum the exact same way, btw, and it provides a nice XP boost)

Select the skill (either by clicking the icon and pressing a number button) and then right click an item in your inventory.

Apparently what I thought was an artifact wasn't an artifact because I got a message asking for Marcus Brody when I got one. Thanks!
