When Dwarven Handshake procs against an enemy standing on a teleportation tile, the teleportation tile gets bumped back with the monster as well. Using the tile works, but warping back will teleport you to the original location of the dwarven handshake'd tile.
Yeah, that's a weird little thing with all knockback skills. It's also not really that big of a deal. Or so I've heard.
It may affect trap tiles and I've seen it affect corpses and items as well. Since it's affecting more than a tele tile, it could have greater unintended consequences.
I don't know what to think of knockback moving dungeon furniture. On the one hand it can have great tactical uses (like intentionally creating a chokepoint, or locking a one-tile passage), but it can also have very bad consequences, like the time I performed an area attack and shoved a coffin right in front of the stairs I needed to flee through.
@zacharyfuss It used to be much much more dangerous than it is now. Not that it is that dangerous, barring whoops moments. It used to knock stairs around, and other stuff that shouldn't move. As it stands, the Devs don't want to remove it, and very few players want it changed.
Working as intended, as david said, it works with the unarmed knockback, and can be useful. Sad with maces cause its random, though.
