Rather self explanatory. Does the GB's effect add more/take away/do nothing alongside Vamp's auto-drain on melee attacks? I'd like to know if to keep them when playing a Vamp character or just sell them.
Wait, does it enhance the health drain? Because I know Vamp's is 2hp and consume corpses gives you 4. Any idea of the actual figures of how much EXTRA HP you get back with GB's effect WITH Vamp drain?
Vamp is actually based on Magic Power. There is no fixed amount, but dual staff builds have been known to drain over 10 a hit. Pretty sure Greedy Bunglecaps work on Magic power as well, so a Dual Wield/Staff/Vamp/Shroom build could work out insanely well.
Yes, and it also stack with Pact of Fleeting Life from Necro. A Vamp/Necro/Staves Can easily net 35 life leech a hit, which also produces 34 piercing damage at the same time. Shroom is too much maintenance for me, but I can see it going up to 49 life leech with a Blungecap.
Well I'm trying that setup right now: -Vamp -Stave -DualW -Shroom -Alch -Percep (Hate running into traps) -Burglar (Can't stand NOT having lockpicks) So far so good but still have to be cautious of boss monsters that will kick your shit.
@evankimori Pssst, Archaeology + Burgalry makes Perception basically useless, Arch gives you trap sight/affinity as well. It's wasteful to take Perception over Arch if you're a mage.
Actually, even more so if you are not. That first spell will save your bacon and keep you out of trouble more times than you will be able to count.
@Kaoy Are you talking about Archaelogy? The It belongs in a museum? Or do you mean another skill? I'm a little confused here. I like that skill, but I've never had it save my bacon.
Gah, Necroeconomics AND Vampirism together sounds like a very difficult build to get out of Level 1 with...
On GR, It depends on your other skills. But regardless, if you avoid actually using any necro skills until you've gained a little armor and/or a level or two, then it gets pretty easy. Yes. you may have a couple of false starts, but once it gets going, it gets good.
