Today I remembered that there were Haikus in this very forum in the beginning of time, namely a few months after launch when there was still the old forum, which was kinda forum+bugtracker combined if I remember right.
Some dude even set up a Tumblr and it was the first hit on googling Dredmor+Haiku! Who would have thought that?

The diggles they dance

Woe befall them soon

Of this monstrous zoo remains
Reward: A gnarled club.

 

Hidden in dungeon
Sleeps a rare, wondrous diggle
Safe from human blades.
