  2. Clockwork empires is cool and all, but when do we get to learn more about the real game here, blood and steam: a clockwork empires fps. I'm itching to hear more about those randomly generated achievements!

I'm stealing MOOMANiBE's job again! But only because I want to comment on it in here. I'm so sorry Moomanibe!

    No Rock Is An Island

And basically I wanted to say that the artwork in the mine reminds me, in a good way, of Age of Empires II. Despite being ancient that game had some amazing art and a great "feel" to it. Or at least, I liked it.

  4. I for one am happy that the minecraft art style was chosen as the wrong path to go. The art looks amazing right now.

My only kind-of-negative remark is that all those rocks look really rounded and eroded. They can really go for boulders that were knocked loose off of a mountain, rolled down and eroded away. I think it'll look kind of weird or out of place if the surrounding terrain isn't all mountain-y.

So there are mines, huh (ofc there are)? So will that be all we see if the mines or can we actually switch to underground view and see where the mine is leading to?

It's reassuring, really, to know that the Great Game we are looking forward to is being crafted by the loving hands of a FULL PROGRAMMER instead of, you know, something like a half programmer. :D

Or a full dwarf. Imagine how it would look if it was coded by dwarves instead of programmers.

Brief Frontier Simulator Update! Also known as Colonial Sims (I love that tag!)

Loving this! The ability for more than one emotion at a time, and varying degrees, really perks my interest. I think it'll make for better stories when the Slightly Angry, Very Mad, Sort-of Depressed Lumberjack goes on a saw-removing rampage that causes a shortage of saws, and then a shortage of lumber, and then no beds, and then and then....

    I love the new update.
    Two questions though.

How come these pictures don't have a larger equivalent? I guess maybe the David is more into us examining the art in large portrait, so he includes them?

And the last picture, what is the emotion of the lady lying down in the bottom right? Is that santa clause? A bearded older guy? A purse? I just can't make it out.
