I have Windows7-64 and have noticed that after about 10-20 minutes of play, the process goes into a 100% cpu loop and the game is effectively hung. Killing it from Task Manager is the only way out. It also happens if I leave the game at the welcome screen - I loaded up but didn't start a new game (ironically I was searching this forum to see if anyone else had the same issue) and when I came to start 'er up, the start menu (new game / load games / high scores / credits / tutorial / quit) was unclickable. Again, Task Manager was the only way out.
