I was on the 8th floor when the hotfix updated my game. Up to this point I had been doing quests without any problems. When I loaded my save again and went down to the 9th floor I found that if I tried to take a quest from the quest shrine the game crashed. It happened twice, both times after I had accepted the quest. When the text telling me what the quest was came up the game crashed. Both quests that crashed the game were quests to kill monsters, one was a single monster and the other was a legion.
I experienced the same crash now (also in DL9). The game crashed 2 out of 3 times at the same statue. I´ll send my save game to the email adress mentioned above. Until this is fixed, saving in front of each Inconsequentia statue in DL9 should "avoid" this bug. edit: I also recommend to save in front of any chest of evil in DL9
