Picked up a native gold, opened the ingot press, picked it up out of my inventory, and then double clicked on the crafting window. Immediate crash.
Same here. There were no recipes in the Porta Still so I assumed I have to drag my item to the golden box at the right. Did so, crashed immediately.
Crashed when clicking on the UP arrow in the crafting interface when that n-dimensional orb was selected. I did not know any recipes at the time. Crafting a steel ingot worked fine, though.
I also had the crafting bug. I found that you get an empty list of recipes when you open the crafting dialog of an item (i.e. the anvil), scroll down a bit, and then close. After that, if you open another crafting item and you don't have as many recipes as in the previous one you opened, it shows the empty list as if the game remembered where you closed it before. If you go back to the beginning of the list before closing any crafting item you won't get the empty list next time. Also, I found two ways of avoiding the crash if you get an empty list: you can close the crafting dialog without scrolling up or down in the list, open again the last crafting item you opened (if you're lucky and remember), scroll to the top of the list, then close. Also, if you change from one item to another from the crafting dialog (left side of the window), you'll get the craft list correctly. For me, it's Windows XP 32 bits.
