I had been using an Orcslasher and an enchanted Steel Axe on my dual wielding character with a +2 trap affinity staff in my inventory for picking up acidic rhizome traps and whatnot. I would go into my inventory and right click my staff when I needed it, which would swap out the Steel Axe and give me my +2 trap affinity until I swapped again. I found some extra steel and crafted my Crude Steel Axe into a regular Steel Axe and kept it in my inventory. When I went to swap my staff as usual, my enchanted Steel Axe landed on top of the other one in my inventory and stacked! In addition, when I un-did the stack, the enchantments were gone.
