Hi everyone, I'm using the latest build of Dredmor from Desura, V1.09B. I got around the libsdl problems by copying the AMD64 folder from V1.09 (from the HIB) to the desura dungeons-of-dredmor folder. This solved the sdl mixer errors, and the game become playable. I resumed my previously unloadable save on the second floor, and played for a while. Upon pressing "Save and Quit" Dredmor had a segfault. I also started a new character and played through the first floor, but Dredmor experienced a segfault when I entered the stairwell to floor 2. Since I was able to play floor 2 earlier, maybe the staircase sound is mislabeled? I also was able to confirm that anytime I did a "Save and Quit" Dredmor would segfault. I don't know how to do a backtrace, but if someone could show me I'd be happy to provide some backtraces. Despite the errors, I like what you guys have done in these new patches.
