A question about polymorphing balance.

    Hey all, fellow modders. Might I press upon your time to ask you a question?

    I'm currently designing a number of consumables that temporarily polymorph the player into various monsters. Now, as we all know, while polymorphed the player loses all stat bonuses from skills that don't have the polymorph tag and I have to make up for it with the buff the item provides, plus a little extra since an item's being used up and another to make up for the loss of skills (the players will be forced to cast spells using wands/thrown; I'll supply a whole line of these for this purpose).

    Now, I'd like to ask--what do you feel would be appropriate and balanced total stats for the buff (make up+bonus) for items of levels 2, 4, 6 8 and 10? I also plan to have a 10-20% chance of the item having a bad effect, so you might want to take that into consideration.
