Yesterday it happened something weird. I got an achievement pop-up in the in-game overlay saying that i got "Not the bees!", but the image was a blank. When i go to Steam, i can see the icon of the last achievement i got before this one (The root of T'char or something like that), but the name is "Not the bees!". The weird thing is, i can't see this, is that the Not the bees achievement, is not showing as achieved, nor as NOT achieved (when you click in "See all achievements"). Sooo...yeah, i don't know if it is just me or not, but i'll take some screenies when i get home. And sorry for repeating the word "Achievement" along the post like...a zillion times, i'm just not that good with english, synonyms or gaming.
Has anyone gotten double rainbow? I just dealt all of the following damage types in one swing (wish I had copy paste of scrollback...) crushing, conflagratory, hyperborean, voltaic, toxic, righteous, necromantic, acidic, putrefying, transmutative, aethereal, asphyxiative, existential Am I doing it wrong, or is it bugged?
As I suggested on IRC, piercing damage may not count as a "standard damage type" (it works just like the exotic types, i.e. not reduced by armor absorption). I'll grant that's not really intuitive but it makes some sense from a game mechanics standpoint. Of course, I've no idea what the coding behind the achievement actually is.
Someone came in and said he got the achievment sucessfully (an hour after you left or something) by loading an old save with an uber weapon with every single damage type and got it. It might be bugged differently, requiring everything? I don't know.
