I've been playing a few games of Dredmor, and I recently was wondering about the Berserker mastery. I started wondering why each of the separate buffs never refreshed each other. Let me explain: Let's say you have all 3 levels of Berserker, and you get hit. You have a chance to get the defensive Berserk and the More Berserk, if you do get one then it has 6 turns left. If you got the offensive Berserk or re-proc the defensive or More Berserk, shouldn't it refresh all the Berserk buffs to 6 turns? Or am I overthinking it?
In all fairness, the Berserker Rage mechanics aren't very obvious. When I first saw it, I thought it was very unimpressive; a luck-based set of buffs that marginally improves your defensive and offensive power? Pass... Then you realize that each of those buffs can stack up to 3 times. In very intensive melee combat, you're bound to run into fights where you get the buffs stacking to 3 times, and the effects on your survivability and melee power are incredible!
