Very depressing bug - after returning from the Wizardlands (this is after doing a few of them, it isn't constant), I am unable to move or access the menu and save my game. Not sure what caused this but I recall having a similar problem early on with mysterious portals when RotDG went up.
I experienced a similar problem after the 1.1.1 patch (but before the DLC). However, the Wizardlands were not (directly) involved. It was on the first level, a gnome died in a poisonous cloud and after that I couldn't move nor click on any buttons, nor exit the game without killing the process in Task Manager. Next time this happens I'll have to put the save game in the upload form.
