Hah, they're not gonna be eaten, even the boys, my mother flat out refuses. Most of them are going to go and live the high life with my brother, the rest will join our flock.
Lol, I just assumed because of the whole 'Chicken Dinner' thing... Here's some ideas (no, I'm not going to come up with 24 names) Chick Correa (after the jazz musician) Crazy Eddie Hopalong Fang (because sometimes a seemingly inappropriate name can feel more right than an appropriate one) Cheep, Cheeper and Cheepest (three for one) All I could come up with for now. /edit btw, you probably wouldn't get the reference, but "Fang" was the name of a canine secret agent from the classic Mel Brooks comedy series, "Get Smart". He was only in early seasons.
Up to 15 chicks now, not sure anymore will hatch, but it was a good run! Edit: Oh wait, Chick 16 is still alive, we may get at least 2 more.
You know, despite not wanting to kill any of them, if you let them all live they multiply exponentially. Keep your options open. When you have 100+ of the things, you will certainly decide they are not so valuable.
I think you may have them confused with Tribbles. Yes, they look similar, and both are cute, but with chicks, a couple of breakfasts, maybe some dinners and problem solved.
