So I'm playing a polearm specialist and forge me some nice, possibly overpowered level 3 recipe naginatas to duel wield with. I shortly get a recipe for Clockwork Drill Lances, which require naginatas, and craft both of my naginatas into Drill Lances without realizing that they're now staff weapons! I don't think this was done on purpose, but it would be nice to have them be changed to polearm class weapons. And on that note, the spear's description of "It's a staff with a knife on the end, okay?" is a bit silly, but in a completely different context than it used to be since it's no longer a staff. These are minor things, but they kinda should be looked into. Anyways, I just snagged some Imperial boilerplate from Brax on Floor 1. Wish me luck for a good run!
Yeah, unfortunately Gaslamp forgot to change them to polearms. On a side note, I love stealing great stuff from Brax on Floor 1. I stole a Cloak of Sagan and The Log from him, but since I wasn't a mage I had no use for the log.
You can fix the problem yourself as you wait for an official fix. Change the item in itemDB from type 3 to type 8 (I believe).
