Did the request for a hotkey combination for this ever get implemented? It still bothers me, having to drop my few lockpicks on the ground, kick in a door, and go back to pick them up when I'm done fighting. I know it was on a request list after release but dunno if it was ever included in an update. A Ctrl+click on doors for force kick (or something similar) would be nice.
Easy solution: put picks on belt slot. When you reach the door, click on picks(picking them up onto your curosr), then use WASD or arrow keys to move into the door(still holding picks on cursor). You'll kick it open, and can then immediately drop your picks back into your belt slot. Voila, no turn loss either for "disarming" your picks or putting them back, and no need to drop them on the ground where they could get lost.
Thanks. I'm not the only one doing this, obviously. I'll just pick them up and use the keyboard to ram the door as a workaround in the meantime.
