I started this game knowing that problems with lagging started with 70+, 80+, 90+ colonists. So to keep the game fun I intentionally kept population low by making myself unfavorable to the Empire. I slowly built and was working towards a colony where I had all the modules built and all my people trained, and could defend against anything. Unfortunately I cannot play more than a few minutes without a crash. I have tried a lot of work arounds, but nothing helps. With nothing to be able to "work at", the game is becoming increasingly uninteresting.
