Hi, Since the patch last week, a whole bunch of recipes have disappeared from my character's book. He's 7-slotted in smith skill and has no recipe above level 5. The entire silver-smithing branch is gone (I'd been saving silver ingots working towards "A Mirror Darkly"). A bunch of the secret recipes have vanished as well. Was this a game balancing thing or is it a bug? thanks Ron
Poke through your other crafting recipe books. Sometimes the game goes crazy and just shuffles recipes around. So you might have smithing recipes hidden in the alchemy box or potions in the ingot press. There's a fix for it, but I can't remember what it is. I'm pretty sure I saw the silver shield tree going through my smithng list a few days ago, I don't think it's been hidden.
When the patch week came, some recipes got changed. Thus, your game shuffled them and they are "somewhere".
