Adapted from Dovecoon's abandoned Crossbowverhaul mod, mostly because the current version had some bugs and balance issues. 0.90 - 9/28/2013 -Thematically rewrote and rebalanced Crippling Overspecialization and Elemental Arrow. -Dramatically reduced zork sell value of the Stake Bolt, Multi Bolt, etc., craft line. -Changed "Leather" reagent to "Hide" so as to not conflict with Advanced Craft N' Smelt's "Leather" item. -Craft recipes updated to reflect this change. -Gave "Holdout Bolt" a longer cooldown, but increased the number of wooden bolts you get from it. I am not a visual artist in any sense so if you can make neat graphics that would be awesome! 5 new skills, all centered around crossbows: -Elemental Arrow -Crossbow Gearhead -Target Practice -Bolt Otaku -Fletching New items: -13 Quivers -17 Bolts -9 Crossbows -7 Pieces of Armor -2 Reagents
If I may make a suggestion, you can try asking Megaron if he would like to help. Unless he decided to stop in the meantime he is trying to practice making icons to get better, so it's possible that both of you would benefit it you asked.
ooo thank you for this. i will try sending him a PM sometime. Right now I'm thinking that this mod's skills need more variety. Some passives that are more exciting and that actually have some spell effects. It's mostly just +stats over and over at the moment. Hmmm....
You could make a +stat based skill (best work with +damage types for elemental tree) and add something more to others. To work best between mods, try looking at Essence rebalance mod, to try think about something crossbow inerent and in the meantime not putting stuff the essence crossbow skill already has.
